Community Guidelines
Last updated: June 30, 2026
The Stoke BBQ community is for sharing cooks and helping each other get better. These guidelines keep it that way. By posting, commenting, or messaging in the community, you agree to follow them.
Zero tolerance
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Do not post, comment, or send:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate speech.
- Sexually explicit or violent content.
- Spam, scams, or misleading content.
- Content that infringes someone else’s rights or breaks the law.
- Impersonation of another person or brand.
Treat other pitmasters with respect. Disagree about technique all you like — keep it civil.
Reporting and blocking
Every post, comment, and profile in the app has tools to keep your feed safe:
- Report any post, comment, or user that violates these guidelines. Reports go straight to our moderation queue.
- Block any user to immediately remove their posts and comments from your view.
How we enforce
We review reported content and take action within 24 hours — removing content, and warning, suspending, or permanently banning accounts as needed. Serious violations can result in an immediate ban without warning. Violating these guidelines can get your content removed and your account suspended or terminated.
Your content
You’re responsible for what you post, and you keep ownership of it. By posting, you grant Stoke BBQ permission to display and distribute that content within the app’s community. We may remove any content that violates these guidelines or our Terms of Use.
Reporting to us directly
You can also reach our moderation team any time at [email protected]. Please include what you’re reporting and why.
